Humid
Today was mostly cloudy and very humid - about 82. Through the morning hours overnight, about another 1.5 inches fell! At night, another 2 inches!!
In a woods nearby, Monotropa uniflora is in full bloom - almost certainly because of the recent rains - I will definitely have to research and experiment with ways of transplanting or propagating this plant!

Way in the back of the yard, is the future site of the new prairie garden!
In the Acid Area, Hieracium venosum has been blooming for a few weeks.
In the Vine Area, Lablab purpurascens just started blooming today.
And finally, a recent picture of the bog! Many of the plants are coming back from their roots, including Coptis trifolia, Trientalis borealis, Viola macloskeyi and Linnaea borealis. It is definitely looking greener... I hope it will be able to sustain itself that way, without too much help, next year!
