New pictures

Happy to report that a few more things are blooming now, probably in no small part to the 81 degree day on Sunday.

Viola hastata has started coming back. (Yay! Wasn't sure it would have made it through the drought.)

Planted the following perennial seeds in the prairie, directly in the ground, in groups:

2: Calochortus eurycarpus, Clematis hirsutissima, Dalea purpurea, Echinacea laevigata, Gentiana affnis, Pulsatilla alpina apiifolia and Silphium perfoliatum.

3: Astragalus canadensis, Baptisia leucophaea, Echinacea angustifolia, Elephantops sp., Liatris pychnostachya, Lupinus hirsutissimus, Nothoscordum bivalve and Penstemon pinifolius.

The Snowdrops (Galanthus nivalis) have finally decided to bloom, and show that spring is not far! Interestingly, they began to bloom on the same day as last year.
